The William B. Finneran Student Opportunity Fund

ll Finneran would often walk into our classrooms with one simple phrase “What do you need? How can I help?” He was driven by an unwavering belief that all children should have access to an excellent education, no matter their circumstances, and wouldn’t expect anything less. To him, a quality education meant the difference between a child succeeding in life or getting left behind. And Bill never left anyone behind. He was the kind of man who would see a problem, make a call, and solve it that day. If you needed something, he was there. That was Bill. Steadfast. Generous. Feisty. And always willing to serve.

“If I help just one kid,” Bill would say, “change only one life—that would be enough.” This year, we are helping over 2,700 students, and Partnership Schools New York realized an astonishing 14.5% enrollment increase.

We hope you will join us in continuing Bill’s legacy on behalf of the students we serve. All proceeds will ensure that Partnership Schools Students receive an excellent, values-based education—a cause our dear friend championed for 20 years.
